Rooted in Gratitude

Terms of Use

Effective October 9, 2026

Site purpose

Rooted in Gratitude LLC operates Rooted in Gratitude as an editorial, podcast and media project presented by Rebecca Rei Hidalgo. The site preserves current and historical conversations about gratitude, housing, work, relationships, growth, community and related subjects.

The historical archive

The archive includes material originally published through Rooted in Gratitude and The Grateful Heart Show over many years. Market conditions, offers, guest titles, affiliations, websites, sponsors, products, contact details, rates, professional roles and opinions may reflect the original publication date rather than current conditions.

Preserving an old episode or link does not mean Rooted is making a present endorsement, offer, sponsorship representation or recommendation.

Editorial information, not professional advice

Rooted content is editorial and educational. It is not legal, tax, accounting, investment, securities, medical, mental-health, lending, engineering, inspection or other professional advice. Guests speak from their own experience or professional perspective, and visitors should consult an appropriate professional before acting on advice requiring specialized expertise.

Real-estate content and brokerage separation

Rooted includes substantial historical housing and real-estate content. Rooted is not, merely because of those topics, the same thing as Hidalgo Real Estate Group or a substitute for a brokerage engagement. Current Arizona real-estate services are provided separately through Hidalgo Real Estate Group and EveryPlace when an actual brokerage relationship is established.

If a particular Rooted page is later used as current advertising for licensed real-estate services, the required brokerage and advertising disclosures should be handled on that specific surface.

Intellectual property and archive rights

Rooted branding, original writing, site design and original media are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. The archive also contains material that may be owned or licensed by guests, photographers, videographers, musicians, production partners, publishers, sponsors, stock providers or other third parties.

Personal, noncommercial listening, reading and viewing are permitted. Unless allowed by law or the applicable rights holder, visitors may not republish, sell, commercially exploit, remove attribution from, create unauthorized derivative works from, or redistribute protected archive content or downloads.

Guest appearances and likeness

Guest participation, recordings, photographs and quotations may be governed by underlying permissions, releases, production agreements or other rights. If you are a guest, rights holder or person depicted in archive material and believe an item exceeds the permission originally granted, identify the exact item through the Rooted contact page so the issue can be reviewed.

Historical sponsors and commercial references

Some archive items may contain sponsorships, promotional references, affiliate-style links, lender or title references, product mentions or other commercial context. Historical publication does not establish that compensation or a material connection exists today. Where a present material connection is legally relevant, Rooted should disclose it at the applicable content level.

Downloads and legacy documents

Historical downloadable resources may include PDF, DOCX, PPTX or other files. Those files may contain old contact details, market data, offers or accessibility limitations. They are provided for archival context unless expressly stated otherwise. Important current information should be confirmed independently before reliance.

Third-party services and links

Rooted may link to or use podcast platforms, YouTube, guest sites, community resources, historical sponsors and other independent services. Those services control their own content, availability, terms, privacy and accessibility practices. Rooted is not responsible for maintaining every external link indefinitely.

Accuracy, corrections and removals

Rooted aims to preserve the archive accurately but does not guarantee that every historical statement, link, biography, episode note, file or media item remains current or error-free. Content may be corrected, restricted, updated or removed when rights, privacy, accessibility, safety, legal or editorial concerns are identified.

Charitable activity and donations

The current website does not operate a donation or fundraising checkout. Rooted does not use this website page to make a representation about tax deductibility, exemption status or the treatment of any particular contribution. If Rooted later solicits donations online, the applicable entity, tax status, beneficiary, payment flow and required charitable disclosures should be verified before that feature is published.

Acceptable use

Do not interfere with site security or operation, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, misuse personal information, scrape protected archive content for commercial exploitation, impersonate another person, violate contractual media restrictions or use the site in a way that infringes third-party rights or applicable law.

Accessibility and alternative access

The archive includes legacy audio, video and office documents that may not yet meet current accessibility expectations. If a historical item is inaccessible, use the Rooted contact page to request an alternative format or another way to access the information.

Changes and availability

Rooted may update, correct, restrict or discontinue pages, archive items, files, features or these terms as the project evolves. There is no promise that every historical external link or third-party media service will remain continuously available.

Governing law

These website terms are intended to be governed by Arizona law to the extent permitted by law. Nothing here waives rights that cannot legally be waived. Arbitration, class-waiver, indemnity or enhanced limitation-of-liability language should be added only after focused counsel review rather than imported from generic website terms.

Questions and rights concerns

Questions about the site, archive, permissions, sponsorship history, privacy or accessibility may be submitted through the Rooted contact page.
